Congratulations to Ian Roberts, Senior Associate – Asset Management at Rail Planning Services, for recently achieving the Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA2) certification. This certification is based on the requirements of the recently published international standard, ISO 55001:2024 Asset management system – Requirements, and is a testament to an individual’s asset management knowledge and experience.

Ian has over 30 years’ experience in Asset Management across Australia, New Zealand and the UK, having worked in a number of sectors including road, rail, utilities and telecommunications.

With a background in Aeronautical Engineering and experience in military aircraft engineering maintenance, Ian understands the engineering smarts of Asset Management. He has lead organisations to review and rationalise the maintenance of their assets to ensure they are suitable, optimised, cost effective and the assets meet the needs of the stakeholders.
